This was my second time ever animating dialogue, my first test is here: https://youtu.be/SP_Zr0C861o
Rafe is a buttmunch C:
The voice is from TF2 and Rafe doesn't sound exactly like this in my mind, though the accent is there, hah. It was intended as practice for lip sync and progression as well as emotional transition, so we had to select an existing sound clip. If I were to pin Rafe down with a particular voice, it wouldn't be this one, but the sound fit his jerkish attitude ;)
Been thinking of somehow trying to find time later this year or early next year to clean this up and change the over-arc to an under-arc and zoom in closer on the character. I doubt I'll have the time though!

I love animation myself, and I feel you. In the third grade, and when I went to a new school, I made friends by giving people little flip books I made from sticky notes and flash cards. XD
Somewhere around my 7th grade year, I stopped for some reason. But last year (11th grade) I seen a little pile of flash cards and thought how I haven't done a flip book in years. I did this quick one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bPIw4uxkymw and even though it's not anything amazing, it still felt so good to make one again. I'd love to make the characters I think of come to life. I love how with animation anything is possible, and you can create a world of your very own.
