nephis_dragon kept asking me what I was up to today before I went over to his place. I kept telling him I didn't want to say anything or send the WIP image. Poor guy, prolly had no idea wtf was going on.Sorry for flat colors, my heart wasn't in making this a 100% polished image. It's just me BAAAWing again about something, I think you guys get the point by now. And besides, this is not porn so no one is going to look at it anyway. I apologize that I treat my gallery as a personal picture diary (as no one but close friends probably give a damn), but to me art should mean something.
Nephis probably knows what this is about, given our conversation today during one of our few brief moments when we aren't jumping each others' bones. For those who are not speaking teh frenches, the signs say something to the effect of "Super SALE! Act now! Cheap!". It stems from the sinking feeling I'm getting lately, that my biological clock is ticking away and I'm losing a shot at something that's important to me. I'm just not getting any younger. I'd call you dense if you can't figure it out, given the pictures on the boxes I'm pining away at. You don't have to point out to me that puppies are an incredibly big, life-changing step and not to be taken lightly, I know that already. But it doesn't stop me from dreaming.
And Nephis, before you start freaking out, chill. Whatever we are, we are. I'm just thinking about you lately and you're cropping up in a lot of the doodles I churn out. And I left my art book on your table today D:

Art is meant to be an expression of one's self, isn't it? So what's wrong with treating this gallery as your own personal diary?
Personally, I think this picture is very touching. I could critique about the artisticness of it, but that would just detract my enjoyment and the meaning I get from the picture. Faved. :)

Yeah, you'd be kicking a dead horse if you offered critique. It's not meant to be something people fall all over themselves on the skill involved :P

awwww. Nah it's one of those things like JPG said. It's your page, so use it as a diary if you want. I really love the emtions here, I think you really captured the longing in your expression, and his almost-obliviousness... I imagine it's not something you really get into a lot...? I could be way off base. Great job though!
I, too, like pictures that provoke thought or emotion more than porn. Porn's like cotton candy; fun fluff, but you get bloody sick of it in a hurry. Stuff like this is a meal: Takes time to digest, but better for the mind in the long run. No critiques here, just gonna say I know how you feel.
I have two, both of which are still under 4 years of age... and I say, it's your life and your bod' have one, or adopt one... if you feel that either would make you happier... but I will warn you , right now, that they only grow to be more of a paw-full of trouble over time... sure they are worth it at times, but at other times you will want to lock yourself away in another room, and scream right along with them(has been there)... but when they want a hug, after they have fussed it all out, it fixes everything.

I don't comment a lot, and for that I apologize, I should get into the habit of doing it more often. But I think you and Nephis make a good pair. He seems awfully level headed and genuinely interested. Just from the observation I've made, and reading his journal, he seems like a good friend.
Biological clocks are bitches. I can only feel sorry for you hun. Mine's gone plum fucking haywire lately and all I can think about is sex and fatherhood. It's irritating after a while. So I wish you the best of luck in dealing with it. And should good things happen, take care of your puppies. <3
