If I may make a simple critique, I know you don't like the traditional love sense but I really wish for this piece you did make a second picture to go along with this one. I would have loved to see sonic with a traditional smile and as well as your Jane cause to me in this picture (if i am say) it looks like sonic just happened to come by and swap Jane off her feet and her expression seems more surprised and awkward then love to me. and the color of the background is a little much if you would have done the background like with trees and leaves falling it would be nicer but the plain purple is just bland. Its a nice piece but i wish you would have done a little more

Not necessarily scared. Just surprised. Maybe he grabbed her or said something that brought the expression on.

Let's try not to assume, here.

I can never tell with her art. One moment hes jumping her, the next hes scared of her, then he's back to craving for her, and then has her tied to a chair to have his way by force. 8/

Its good positioning, and the lineart is fantastic. And I like the hands and feet. Very darling.
My favorite would be Maurice's position- he seems solid and supporting, which gives a very comforting and attractive feel. Its good for the type of man you see him as.

But it has potential to be more- to shade and add a fitting background would really have made this a hot seller. The bright purple background is obnoxious and not a fitting color to express the love between the two.
I would suggest for the background something pastel- like a very soft pink or baby blue, complete with a few splatters of a more darker version of that color. Or, for a scene, they could be leaning against the wall of their bedroom or headboard of their bed.
As for shading, I see you always doing this very simple version of it. Why not take some time to do a complex version? Some people do this awesome thing with many layers and tones to give off a complex and stunning visual.

Its a bit of a let down to see such good lineart and flatcolor just sit here like this. I think you could really do more and make it look fantastic.
