...Is pretty great! So this Monday I was invited to go on a "hike with scrambley bits" up a mountain called Heart Mountain with some friends! Unfortunately, it seems as though the trail is actually a full-on scramble.

Now for those who don't know what a scramble is, it's basically a non-technical mountain climb. One that doesn't require the use of ropes to ascend. And for me, who is not quite at the peak of fitness/acclimatized to the altitude yet, I was just unable to take the intensity of the climb up. I broke off from my group about halfway up and told them I'd meet them at the bottom later on in the day once they were done. It sucked, but there was just no way I was going to be able to do it.

So on the way down I took this! It was a nice view for what it was, and I hope one day to return and actually do the full climb.
