An older drawing and idea I've had. Jackal or whoever would have a little metal skull necklace. Prey who are swallowed while the predator wear this necklace would obviously pass through the neck and necklace, giving them a curse. A curse which would keep them alive through and past digestion. After death, their consciousness stays with their skull. Seeing from it's empty eye sockets. This curse would wear off shortly after leaving the predator's body. This is mainly to torture and taunt the prey. To keep them alive past death to watch and feel themselves digest through the whole digestive system. And as a gross warning... they witness their remains become poop as well!

I don't know if I will revisit this idea or go anywhere with it. I just figured with was worth sharing ;)
