Anyway this was a blast to draw and I'm so happy to finally see it complete! :D This is my BIGGEST ych yet! And I'm super pleased with the result. The water texture was something totally new I tried, and I'm really happy with how it looks. Just used marker and watercolor brushes of varying sizes to try and mimic the lighting that a pool gets. Took 5ever, but totally worth!
Threw in some little 90's throwbacks, see if you can find them all! 8)

This is just... spectacular, and I really get a kick out of Mino's cameo as the floatie! I've been looking at this for a few minutes now (there's certainly a lot to look at) and I think I spotted that Chihuahua you designed for the YCH a while back! It's neat that you got such a good mix of species in here, too. Any plans for another mass YCH? I certainly enjoyed this one.

And I was definitely thinking about a tiger shark when I tried to "sharkify" your character. :)
I'm still up in the air about what theme to go with for the next big YCH project. I was thinking about revisiting my vintage pin up series or incorporating a vintage/retro theme into my next multi-char piece. :)

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!
It sure has taken me long enough to get my words gathered to comment on this properly! Because GUH, I look at it every day and squeal about what an amazing job you did getting everyone's characters so perfect and to fit so well into the scene! That water looks amazing and the ambient lighting looks like they have all been swimming the day away and its getting to be dinner time and the sun is starting to beautifully set, making the sky that striking orange pinkish color. Everyone's character looks sooooooo freakin' awesome in your style. I can just hear Callum's little English accent as he squeaks and nervously laughs during the water gun fight! His expression is perfect! XD And my little still unnamed Chihuahua gal looks so spunky and playful! I know I WILL find the perfect name for her. And this pic helps draw out her personality too! I love her bikini eeee!!! ^___^ I really can't get over the way you did the water: the splashes, the trail of water on the beach ball, its all so perfect. <3 And what I am about to say isn't just because we are friends, I promise: Every time I see you upload, every new piece you create, it keeps me inspired and motivated and in awe of your hard work and creativity.
