The coloured image features Danish in her youth, it's an image from cover from my first comic, drawn about 10 years ago.
The black-and-white image features Danish as she is now, grumpy in her old(er) age - and for good reason! Danish is now blind in one eye, and can no longer fly. This is due to her injuries.

Danish was the first character I told a story about. The original plan was to make a comic based on each character's perspective - that would have taken forever!

Why "Danish"? I'm terrible at names, and thought it funny in my youth to call a pig after a brand of bacon. It stuck, so I haven't changed it since.
Why a flying pig? I don't know. Fun fact - pigs were once my favourite animal.
