With your art? Or is it something else entirely?
I know when I started I had this problem with trying to add too much detail and stuff like that. None of your efforts are in vain, I bet every time you do a piece you lean something new regardless of how small the lesson was. a lot of small things add up after a while.
It just takes time man, Trust me I know how frustrating it can be. I've been learning from Lunar and he's not some one thats easy to be taught by even though he has a class he teaches art for XD
I just have an attention problem and stuff lol.
The best advice I can give you is to do a skeleton first with very light lines, then fill it in as you see fit. kind of like a stick figure with dots at the joints, this way you can get the proportion right. I'm honestly not pro but I've seen it help a grate many. <3

Heh, Yeah I really... REALLY hate doing it too. But when I don't my arms and legs... Well I'm going to be nice to my self and just say it don't look right... XDD
I'm never going to tell you how to do your stuff man. I'll lend any helpful information I can though. Their suggestions and should be taken in no other way because most of it is personal experience and we're different peoples. ^.^
