It looks like it is indeed a Bad Idea to sneak into the LHC. Darren "Gav" Bleuel entered the ring whilst carrying a crowbar (Likely trying to emulate Gordon Freeman; though for some reason wearing a Hawaiian shirt, swimming trunks and sandals instead of an HEV Suit), there happened to be an experiment going on that ended up creating a tear, it violently floated around the tunnel in front of Gav and struck the end of the crowbar, instead of destabilizing further and exploding with the force of 4-8 tons of TNT, it spontaneously stabilized into a wormhole leading to the White Space, AKA "Endospace". The sudden grav surge tore the crowbar from his hand and sucked it through, this caused Gav to plummet facefirst into the wormhole, sending him into the White Space. There he encountered someone rather familiar....

It looks like it is indeed a Bad Idea to sneak into the LHC. Gaviscon (Smeg, now he's going to kill me...) "Gav" van Darin entered the ring whilst drinking a Guinness (Likely out of curiosity, entering the ring, I mean), there happened to be an experiment going on that ended up creating a tear, it violently floated around the tunnel in front of Gav and brushed the edge of the can, instead of destabilizing further and exploding with the force of 4-8 tons of TNT, it spontaneously stabilized into a wormhole leading to the White Space, AKA "Endospace". The sudden grav surge tore the can of Guinness from his hand and sucked it through; in his horror from losing it, he jumped through after it, ending up in the White Space. On the other side, he performed acrobatics that should have been impossible, even in the low-grav enviroment, catching the spinning can and every single drop long before any struck the ground. As his wormhole closed behind him, another opened, spitting out a crowbar and someone who seemed eerily familiar....

In what we're going to call Earth P3X (Darren's homeworld), Gav's friends tried to recreate whatever caused the wormhole to open. While a wormhole did indeed open, it didn't lead to Endospace, instead, it lead into Flawspace, the corrosive energies of Flawspace ate away at whatever the wormhole touched, including the section that had the minute imperfection that allowed the accident in the first place. Once the wormhole closed, a considerable section of the ring was dissolved away.

In what we're going to call Earth 414 (Gaviscon's homeworld), Gav's friends tried to recreate whatever caused the wormhole to open. They managed to get it right and opened a wormhole into Endospace, dragging Gav through. Unfortunately, as he was falling back into his homeworld, the wormhole destabilized and doubled him, drawing energy from vacuum fluctuations; one fell out back in his homeworld, the other was thrown back into Endospace. The wormhole opening in Endospace closed, while the opening at the LHC exploded, luckily, it was much less powerful than it might have been, merely tearing apart the section with the imperfection that allowed the accident in the first place, no-one was badly hurt.

Both Gavs (Darren and the unlucky Gaviscon) were trapped in Endospace for nearly thirty-thousand years, well, outside; inside, it had only been one hour, thirty-six minutes. They were rescued when a Ser researcher finally managed to open a wormhole into Endospace, needless to say, she hadn't expected to find anyone there.

The White Space that Gav and Gav have found themselves in is a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold with a slight positive curvature. However, despite what you may think, it is not compact, it is, in fact, infinite: This is because the curvature is not constant everywhere, it is greatest at the origin (Which is where the wormholes opened), but as you go farther from that central point, it gets smaller, approaching, but never quite reaching, Euclidean. For some, as of yet to be discovered, reason, there is gravity in the White Space, perpendicular to the "ground", about 1.6m/s² (Roughly Lunar gravity, pre-2599CE) where that Gavs are. There is also an oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, concentrated around the origin.
