This is the character sheet of Steam - showing his left leg. Isn't he unlucky to be losing his limbs? Oh well. I guess if I made a ref sheet where he's lookign to his right he could have his arm removed. :P
Steampunk prosthetics, yay?
This is definitely a recreation of my first fursona mixed with a love letter to Codename STEAM. And now with a brother bear look - aka some peoples' favourite movie due to bear TF. (Too bad that the movie wasn't much to write home about)

Horrible luck and accidents. The leg was an accident and took it off at the knee.
Prosthetics advanced at the expense of limb-sparing techniques, so they often just take the whole thing off. That's not to say there aren't cases in which you can simply just make an artificial bone or use a metal for it instead - just that it can sometimes cause an infection and/or muscle damage from older surgical procedures. What happened to his arm was a form of bone cancer was developing and it wasn't discovered until ANOTHER accident caused it to be crushed, so it saved his life... just not his arm.
He doesn't care. :P Steam still has functional limbs.
