"Uniting ritual"?

Am I the only one that thinks it would be pretty easy to find her? I mean, 200 paces east of the village? How easy wouldn't it be to find her or surround her just after that knowledge?
Or how easy wouldn't it be to find her hideout.....just after that knowledge? I must say that if this doesn't end in a good way so am I going to be annoyed!=v= But that doesn't mean that don't like this comic of course!^v^

That could just be a remote rendezvous point she has set up rather than an area close to her hideout.

Yeah, I know, but it would be pretty easy to surround her anyway. I mean, take some warriors with you and make them go like 200 paces away from you or something. And then places them in a bit of a circle around the place where the king is going to meet her. Like 300, 250, 200 paces away from him. The warriors would then be in a pretty good position even if the king gets caught or something.
And if she would see the warriors? Where would she see them from? A tree? A mountain? If the warriors goes after the king after a minute or three has gone by (Or after a long enough time has gone after the king has left) so would she already be there or close by....right?
I don't know. It just sounds like a stupid plan from her part (if you ask me) and if the prince gets eaten so am I just going to be annoyed by him dying from a stupid death that could have been stopped. :/
But whatever, I guess I'll just watch where the comic ends and then either be annoyed or happy!^v^....I hope I become more or less happy...at least.=v=

I think she's kept that possibility in mind. It's likely she frequently checks out the area from someplace subtle, such as a tree, like you've mentioned, in case he were to bring backup.

So she doesn't work alone? And is she on the tree while she's waiting for the king to come? Where would she hide her prisoner then? How would she escape if she in in the middle of the circle of warriors, WHILE taking the prisoner aka the prince with her? And by the way....backup? They are literally 200 paces away from the village that the prince lives in right? That's like less then 200 meters or just a tiny, tiny bit more! The king would be able to call for even more backup after her backup comes.
God....this is just bringing up more questions. DX
And even if she doesn't have her camp by the place she's supposed to meet the king....then wouldn't it be pretty close by....depending on that she asked him to meet her 200 paces away from his village? The king was supposed to walk 200 paces east from the village. If he's supposed to meet her on the same day as he got to know about it, so wouldn't it be pretty easy to figure out how far away the cave would be because of it happening on the same day?

Ugh, I hope he makes it back alive so that I don't have the ad this to my list of confusing deaths.=v=

I did not say anywhere that she doesn't work alone and has backup. She specifically tells Bruun to come to the point alone if he wants his son to be safe, so she assumes he won't be as dumb as to disobey. Regardless, she would scan the area in case he still makes the wrong decision.

Jacki's hideout is not 200 paces away, it's even further, and even then, 200 paces is approximately 500 feet (one natural step is about 30 inches long), and I'd say that's a fair distance from the village for a rendezvous point, but not a hideout. Jacki doesn't even want to take the King. She wants the tribes' valuables.

Mhe, it still seems like there is a few holes in her plan.=v= And I got 152.2 meters from 500 feet by the way!:3 Which is even less then what I thought.=v=
And yes I know that you said that she didn't work alone, but the text under the comic always says: Another long-term series requested by Raksha-Jareth, this time featuring (a sly rat-girl named Jacqueline, who has taken Enuk for ransom.) Which made me think that she worked alone.^v^

Anyway, I'm just going to hope he doesn't end up as lunch or whatever.=v= I don't want to ad another death to my list of confusing and/or stupid things that happened before the character/characters died.XD
