A skiltaire in light powered armor of the style of the Commonwealth. (Wrong universe, but whatever.) The Commonwealth uses smartguns mounted on shoulders when making feral-style armor, and that's the case here. There is also a smaller weapon in the head housing (red lens) and a sight/sensor (all the blue-purple lenses on the armor are sensors, allowing all-around vision). The light green globes are shield generators, ranging from a unified bubble generator (the big one under the blaster) to directional generators (various smaller ones - the side ones are actually oriented in various directions).
All four paws can extend extremely sharp hullmetal claws, but these are normally retracted to avoid scarring the deckplates.
Linear armature motors on the inner face of the armor reduce the burden of the suit, making the wearer faster and stronger than he/she would be without it. Integral gravity polarizers not only dampen impacts but allow the wearer to run along walls or ceilings.
This is a brand new hullmetal-green suit lacking the usual battle scars. Most of these suits have active camouflage so they can be any color or combination of colors, but that system is not activated here. This suit separates into top and bottom halves (as does the helmet) - the only piece that does not separate is the neck. These suits are held in a saddle-like rack and the skiltaire merely climbs into the bottom half, sticks his/here head through the neck into the helmet, and the top half drops down and locks in place. A practiced wearer can get into such a suit in less than ten seconds.

There are five tiers of suits/armor in common use use in the Commonwealth and this is tier 3.
Tier 1 - survival suit, very little armor but can be worn indefinitely. Recycles everything.
Tier 2 - crew suit, lightly armored, typical shipboard wear - sometimes replaced with personal shield generators on low risk missions. The Commonwealth frowns on crewmen getting killed by explosive instrumentation or depressurization incidents.
Tier 3 - this sort of suit, moderate armor and weapons. Usually kept in the armory, officers may have a suit assigned to them that they keep in their quarters. Fast, tough, but hardly invincible.
Tier 4 - A more thickly armor version of this suit with heavier weapons
Tier 5 - Usually restricted to large wearers like falan, heavily armored and shielded and with a cannon-type weapon
Beyond 5 are mech-type suits, some of which enclose lighter suits.
