I keep seeing this and asking myself if I should go for it!

Mm, I guess it depends on your taste in anime and general tolerance levels for moe stuff?

Like.. it's certainly a lot of cutsey moe girls. But also there's a fair share of male characters (who frankly are the far more interesting/hilarious characters, and in my opinion it's totally worth watching for their antics), and a lot of good music, and the character designs are pretty cute. Though the style shifts into CGI for the live concert/monster battle parts, which is a bit odd, but I didn't mind it so much once I got used to it.

So yeah, I dunno. I'd say it's worth it to give an episode or two a try if you're on the fence. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, haha.

I was expecting a fluffier, idolier k-on here, until there were monster battles. XD

Ah haha, the monster fighting is super rare, but yeah, they introduce you to the show in such a misleading way. XD It's still a fun show, though.
