"...but just for fun..."
I can fully imagine Leon wetting himself at those words. Assuming he hasn't already.
Mind you, Leon is a smart guy. While it was Meier's idea to give him the front row seats, it was Simon's idea to take him to work on the day of his "presentation". Which probably went along the lines of "let's show him how much of an action movie star I am" inside Simon's head. Leon is smart enough to know this is what Simon was thinking, which leads to the question of what Leon will do when the two lovers have a private moment away from the adults.
My vote is for lots of shouting, though killing Leon and plowing Leon till he's out cold are both options... possibly at the same time. Given the back and fourth nature of False Start, I fully expect whatever happens to inevitably involve Leon moving out of Simon's house and crashing at his sister's till he finds a new place. This new place will inevitably involve him moving in with Meier's son, who in a rebellious streak against his father is actually attending college. After this cue the second assassination attempt by Mister Meier Senior.

I like to think the air is just a little bit chillier around a certain government agent, even if he himself isn't showing it.
Meier, and you, like to remind us how the suit was made for human users, but I like to think there was a bit of sadistic glee when Meier outright mentioned that in the first panel. Like he drew out the word 'inferior' just a little bit longer than he had to. It'll be interesting to see a human operator in the future, should they come up. For comparative purposes.

"Fair-bots"
CONFIRMED.
Really love the claw-paw feet on the armor. So many practical applications for climbing and traction with those, not to mention close combat if the user is suited for it (no pun intended).
Interesting that the suit was originally designed for a human user. Makes me wonder exactly who Dyklon was designing them for, why they don't yet have a Vul suit, and whether the suits are currently in use or if this is still a prototype.
Though I once again wonder about different weapons systems. Squad Automatic Weapons (SAW) usually use the same type of rounds as those of a squad's riflemen for ease of logistics, but their rate of fire is much greater than that of an assault rifle. Just how quickly and completely can a suit mitigate the effect of being hit? What of weapons that are still man-portable but use heavier calibers, like .45 or .303? Then there are heavy machine guns like .50 cals, not to mention autocannons and the like (though that gets a bit beyond the range of small arms).
