As my 'sweeps month' (May, 2015) begins its final week, I have another 'throwaway gag' - concocted on the spur of the moment...
Inspired by similar gags from such comic strips as "Off The Mark" by Mark Parisi, "Tundra" by Chad Carpenter, "Sunny Street" by Max Garcia, etc., this 'throwaway gag' depicts a beaver cleaning his teeth in the bathroom of his lodge, as I parody various products of dental hygiene...
For example, since the beaver's incisors (the main teeth he uses to gnaw trees) are orange in color, he uses a 'tooth oranger' (a take-off of 'tooth whiteners') on his toothbrush. I also lampoon mint-flavored Listerine® mouthwash, by having the rodent swill pine-flavored Lis-TREE-N®... Well, they're both green! Anyway, you get the idea...
