I'd prefer to be the cute ball of fluff. Of course, I favor brains over brawn (like any other respectable sentient being), so I'll naturally choose visual appeal rather than sacrificing it for a less socially acceptable, ultimately useless form. I believe it was a great error for natural selection to generally neglect the human body aesthetically.

Almost no one would have the audacity to shoot a puppy, right? Think of the many deaths we could prevent if we could exploit the powerful aspect of adorable. Adorable wins over minds. Adorable makes us forget why we were angry in the first place. Adorable causes us to cooperate so we don't have to see such a precious little thing die or suffer. If only we could reshape our form and start over with a clean slate. Civilization could actually be civil.

One should not be embarrassed for being called "cute" (Unless it's ironic) - it's a great social benefit to have, which, for humans, is a valuable benefit.
