Phew, love this one! Feels good to work on a big dragon again! This guy has some really unique wings that were fun to work on. To accommodate the 'extra' bend in them, I looked at how pterosaurs wings are built, what with their elongated wrists. I also tried something a bit different with the shading to show the stretch of the membrane, (as well as some fleshy veins, if you peer close enough.) Turned out awesome!

I love your more realistic approach of depicting a dragon as a creature able to actually soar through the skies, instead of pummeling down the wings to get a creature that might jump a few meters at best, considering its own mass vs. wingspan, while mixing the whole thing up with a more eastern approach of a long, slender body for maneuverability.
I do wonder though, what's the resolution of the original picture?
