I love painting Celeste, it's not just the nifty wings, very long black hair and the velvet coat. It's also her proud, forceful personality. It just seems to shine through when I do a pic of her. 12x18 gouache, acrylic and watercolour on illustration board.

She is so amazingly beautiful, and you capture the sleek glossy velvetness of her black coat so incredibly well!

I always find it amusing when I look at a picture of Celeste, though, to remember that I used to have a character named Celeste myself, who was a kitty too... but a rather fluffy white kitty =~.^=
