MORE INFORMATION
♥ blooms live in colonies called bouquets, they are sociable creatures and often times have grown up together. bloom colonies can be made up of anywhere between 10-20 blooms, and they are always willing to accept a bloom who's been abandoned into their colony.
♥ blooms live off of sunlight, rain, and nutrients from soil, just like flowers! some predatory blooms eat insects. they bury themselves in the soil when they sleep.
♥ stress causes a bloom's flowers to wilt and die. this can impact the chances of a bloom finding a mate.
♥ blooms can grow flowers and leaves from anywhere on their bodies except the eyes. flowers sprouting out of the eyes are a mutation and, of course, hinder a bloom's vision greatly. in return however, that bloom's other senses sky rocket. though because it is such a crippling mutation, blooms with this mutation usually have slim to no chances of finding a mate because others fear it may carry on to their offspring.
♥ among each bloom's colony is a QUEEN, they are usually much larger than a typical bloom and are responsible for seeing that things within their colonies are under control. Queens are protectors, they have real love for their colony's blooms, and feel real pain whenever something bad happens to them. offspring from a queen is royalty and a queen's offspring is to take control of the colony when her time of passing comes.
♥ queen blooms are born queens. how to determine if a bloom is a queen is by: size, body, and the tell-tale bush "crown" that expands beyond a queen's head, neck, and shoulders. queens are so rare that there is an approximate 1 queen born for every thousand or so blooms born.
♥ blooms reproduce sexually, however, this only occurs during mating season in the spring time. during mating season blooms with the most extravagant display/arrangement of flowers are more likely to be sought out. blooms with bushes growing an array of flowers are more fertile. by this logic, queens are the most fertile of all blooms, and their litters consist of 1-5 seedlings.
♥ blooms are avid collectors. human's trash/lost items become their treasure. blooms will often trade the items they've collected for other items, jewelry and change (nickles, quarters, dimes, pennies) are the most precious.
RARE TRAITS ® AND MUTATIONS (M)
R: bush collars (that dumb tiny little doodle in the middle of the picture) are rare.
R: majority white/albino fur
M: pupils in unnatural shapes
M: no leaves, only flowers or vice versa
M: flowers sprouting from the eyes
i coooould be missing some things, but i'll add them as i go along.
