I love how the raindrop splashes form a "glow" of sorts atop the character and the branch.
There's always so much emotion in your paintings.

The lightning is just fantastic. There is sadness, and the sweetness which make it bearable, yet above all is the purifying light, falling down like rain, making things and thoughts cleaner.

or it's just a bunch of dots with some motion blur, then air brushing along the surfaces where the rain should be impacting.
