Boss looks over the city of his birth before embarking on his trip to Europe.
This is a coloured version of a panel idea I had for EC's new introduction. Drawing my home City of Belfast, Northern Ireland makes me want to do more in that settings. It's familiar and has a certain unexplored beauty to it. But the question is can I show that beauty to other people?
Side note, I've started a new job as a Data Processing Analysis, so I can't draw and submit things at the same rate as before. But I will try to keep the pilot light burning.

Heh, thanks!
I tried to do a few things: Isolation, having Boss centred alone in the picture. Travel, the car and the suit case to suggest he's leaving. Longing, by having Boss look over the city like there's something missing. Change, an amber city-scape with lots of construction going on.
Trying to express these things without words is definitly a challenge, but it's very rewarding!
Thanks for the watch, By the way!

It's amazing for me... All you described is in the picture and talked to me without any words... Many things going on in my mind and with my feelings when I watch it. I have a direct reaction with it. Thanks for sharing that gorgeous work with us (by the way: I put it on my laptop as wallpaper, I hope thats otey for you?)...
Insensitivity alert!
I'm from Northern Ireland; the part of the British islands where calling one half of the population a "Brit" will land you in trouble. That's the half I'm from! But it's coo', to be honest most of us don't seem to care about those distinctions any more; I mean for one I'm going out with a so called Brit. The days of throwing petrol bombs at one another are behind us... and still with us in the present... and probably will still be with us in the future. But the point is it's getting better!
Southern most part? Does that place you in the westcountry, then? I bet it's really nice down that way.

Ooo... sowwie... Silleh me. I forgot about that D:
But yeah... I actually live right at the bottom of Hampshire... about 5 minutes walk from the seaside.
It's nice... but there are alot of old people that come here to retire by the south coast... I live on a smaller Island just off the mainland, we nickname it the 'Island of Death' because of the correlation between the number of old people, and the number of screaming ambulances I hear out of my bedroom window...
I would much rather live further north... i'm bored of the sea... bleh... so much water... teehee...
