<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>I knew I wanted to do an owl for Magician ever since I started in on this set. Owls have always been the symbol for intelligence for me. I'll blame that on Archimedes from The Sword and the Stone.
I was also inspired a bit on the design for this owl, by this blind owl, who looks like they have the very universe in their eyes. It was breath taking.
I'm so pleased with how this turned out. I can't wait for the rest of the set.

Hehe :D I quite agree. Awesome is a very lovely word. Though there are a few that are better, but awesome is just...well... awesome XD

Owls totally need more love. I don't see them as much as I'd like to, but I can sort of see why. Owls are tricky to draw, and their feet... holy crap... I originally wanted the feet to show, but after 3 hours of cussing and fuming, I ended up hiding them because they're haaaaaaard D:
