Here are their bios:
Name: Colonel Niles Miller (Super Walrus)
Species: Walrus
Height: 6' 6"
Weight: 270 lbs
Age: 52
Occupation: Director, B.O.S. Antarctica Substation
Weapons: Carries a utility belt with a few simple weapons
Costume: Green
Powers: Flight, Super strength, very impervious to cold.
Weaknesses/Personality: Both his personality and weakness can be summed up by saying Niles takes his job WAY too seriously. He gets little rest because he is determined to monitor Antarctica at all times. He can be too inflexible and 'by the book' strict, but he still has a good heart and good intentions at all times
History: Niles was a lifetime Army soldier (joined when he was 18) stationed in Alaska for over twenty years, rising to the rank of Colonel before he retired. Niles liked Alaska so much, he bought a place in Northern Alaska to live out his retirement. One day, as he was ice fishing he pulled up a large, metallic container. When Niles sat it down on the frozen ice, it began to make noises and flash random colored lights. Unknown to the walrus, he had salvaged a piece of lost alien technology which soon exploded. Instead of killing Niles, the explosion unleashed unknown forces that reacted with his body. When the smoke cleared, he discovered he was taller, much more muscular and could fly. Being the patriotic American, Niles immediately registered with the Bureau and was soon accepted as an agent. His advanced military training helped in his quick advancement through the ranks. When the Bureau announced the proposed creation of the Antarctica Substation, Niles immediately volunteered to be stationed there. The Bureau gave Niles command of the station, a role he thoroughly enjoys to this day.
Name: Cedric Smythe (Paladin Penguin)
Species: Standard Penguin
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 43
Occupation: Assistant Director/Chief Medical Officer, B.O.S. Antarctica Substation
Weapons: Carries a utility belt with a few simple weapons
Costume: Black tuxedo
Powers: Can slide super fast on ice or snow. Mid level super strength and has limited magical powers. Most of his magic is illusion based but he is capable of small feats of natural magic too.
Weaknesses/Personality: He's the typical 'prim and proper' Englishfur, likes things tidy and neat. His largest weakness is his memory of the wife who left him, Elizabeth. Just the mention of her name in casual conversation is enough to send Cedric into a near emotional breakdown.
History: Cedric was born of a wealthy family in London, England. He was on his way to a great career in medicine after graduating from Cambridge Medical School until he met Elizabeth, a classmate penguin whom he quickly fell in love with and married. However, Cedric's passion of cleanliness and neatness slowly drove his wife away from him. When she finally packed up and left, it devastated Cedric. So despondent he became that the young penguin decided to end it all. Climbing to the top of Big Ben, the sad Cedric had every intention of jumping off to his death. He jumped, but during his descent, a sudden strong wind blew him off course, sending the wayward avian crashing through the window of a floating airship operated by a mad hedgehog scientist named Grover Wellington. Grover, at that very moment, was conducting an experiment on enhancing the natural attributes of species fursons. He loaded his transference machine with two live feral penguins and prepared to throw the switch. The force of Cedric crashing through a window shook the entire airship, jarring open the receiving chamber of the machine where, as luck would have it, Cedric slid into with the chamber door closing behind him. The incredible machine activated, though damaged and producing smoke. The confused scientist, thinking his airship was under attack, ran to the cockpit and started landing procedures. The machine then exploded, sending the glowing Cedric flying towards the back of the craft. By the time the airship landed in downtown London, it was surrounded by British police. Turns out Grover Wellington was a wanted fugitive, under arrest for illegal animal experimentation. When Cedric awoke, he heard the voices of police entering the airship. Instantly thinking to himself, "I can't let them find me like this!" a strange magical force changed his tattered clothing into a black and white tuxedo with matching black eyemask. When the police pulled Cedric from the wreckage, he thought he was going to be sent to prison, but instead, the ranking constable congratulated him for bring the mad scientist hedgehog to justice. When several TV crews arrived on the scene, Cedric once more looked worried. "I've got to get out of here!" he thought, causing the tuxedo wearing avian to magically vanish.
Opening his eyes, he was in the bedroom of his London apartment, wondering what had just taken place. When he stood and examined himself in a wall mirror in his new, costume, a canine wearing a veil and genie costumed appeared behind him. The penguin squawked, backing away from the female dog, thinking he'd gone insane. It was Super Genie, who quickly explained that it was her, interference, with his jump that saved his life and given him new superpowers. She convinced the still shaking Cedric that life was worth living, and that he could use his new superpowers for the cause of justice. Turning on his television to the live scene of the airship crash, the reporter, who had witness the masked Cedric vanish, commented that the mysterious new hero was 'quite a paladin.' Cedric liked the name, and Paladin Penguin was born. Quickly, the civic minded Cedric registered with the Bureau, applied for membership, and was quickly accepted and trained. Wanting no reminders of his lost love, Cedric asked to be stationed as far away from England as possible. So when the Antarctica substation was opened, Cedric immediately applied to serve there.
Name: Laika Rimsky (Snow Wolf)
Species: Gray and White Wolf
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 120 lbs
Age: 35
Occupation: Head of Internal Affairs, B.O.S. Antarctica Substation
Weapons: Carries a utility belt with a few simple weapons
Costume: Light Blue tight 'track suit' with detachable parka. Beneath it she wears a blue leotard that looks more like a one piece swimsuit, high cut on the legs, low cut in the front. She usually wears snow goggles with a wrap around eyemask underneath it
Powers: Snow Wolf can produce ice from her paws, gets from place to place quickly by freezing a path and then sliding on it. Can move VERY fast, especially in colder climates. She also has medium level super strength.
Weaknesses/Personality: Laika has a very explosive temper, can get angry quickly, especially when provoked. In her calmer state, she is very nice, polite and considerate. Her main weakness as a supefur is heat, fire, warmer temperatures.
History: Laika grew up in Siberia to a poor but proud working family. The wolfess dreamed of becoming an Olympic level skier, so she'd practice often in her spare time. Usually, she couldn't get to a ski resort, so Laika would climb the surrounding mountains of her hometown and practice with her own homemade skis in secret. One morning, as she started a long ski run down one of the steepest mountains, an avalanche struck, instantly burying the helpless young wolfess under a huge amount of fallen snow. Knocked unconscious, Laika was trapped for over a week in the unforgiving Siberian cold. Any normal furson would've froze to death, but the prolonged lowered temperatures activated previous undiscovered genetic traits within Laika's body. Not only did her metabolism and inner body completely adjust to the extreme cold, it absorbed it and fueled her untapped abilities. Rescued after nearly ten days, the local peasants (and her parents) hailed it as a miracle that Laika survived her ordeal with little bodily harm. Of course, her furious parents forbid her from ever skiing again. It was after several weeks that Laika accidentally discovered her new ice making powers when she grew enraged at the Russian landlord who came to evict her family from their home and froze his vehicle solid. When the furious landlord rushed to slap Laika for her misdeed, he got frozen solid too. The villagers who had witnessed these events quickly feared Laika and forced the young wolfess to leave. When her parents and other siblings protested, they were rounded up and placed in the local jail. Laika was so livid, she would've frozen the entire village if Kremlin Cossack, the Bureau of superheroes Director of the Russia region, hadn't arrived to stop her. He offered young Laika a deal, all of her 'ice crimes' would be forgotten and her family released from jail if she agreed to join the Bureau. Laika had no other choice but to accept those terms and she became Snow Wolf. During her first year on the Russian Bureau, she and Kremlin Cossack went on a mission together to defeat a group of paramilitary furs who were terrorizing a local town on the Kamchatka Peninsula. The masked Russian bear boar decided that they'd take the group down in a daring nighttime sneak attack. He told Laika to wait for fifteen minutes and then freeze up all the entrances into their barracks while he snuck around the back to make sure they were all still sleeping inside. Excited, Laika stared at her watch as her boss circled around the back of the structure. When the fifteen minutes were up, Laika pointed her paws at the main entrance and unleashed her icy powers. Unfortunately, in her excitement, she managed to freeze the entire barracks as well as Kremlin Cossack, who thought he was a safe distance away. After he was chiseled out, the furious bear boar immediately transferred Laika to the Antarctica substation, where she has happily been ever since.
