This story appeared in the Eurofurence 20 conbook. I'm posting it here because it's eligible for the Coyotl Awards and most people probably didn't have a chance to read it, and I like it quite a bit. It is (as will become clear) in the League of Canids world.

An interesting read.

You don't often see what happens after the guys (and girls and diverse others) in capes fly off to the next catastrophe.

Yeah, the theme for EF was "Crime Scene," and I was poking through the web and found a whole bit on CTS crews and then thought about the people who clean up after superheroes... thought it was interesting and something people rarely write about. Thanks!

It's always good to get a story from an uncommon perspective. I had never really imagined what happens after the superheroes fly away, or to a lesser extent the Schwarzeneggers and Daniel Craigs of the world, and everyone's left to pick up the pieces. Fantastic work!

Cleaning up super-villain lairs of anything dangerous should actually form the basis for more superhero literature. It's like the true crime shows talk about busting meth labs but no one mentions cleaning the place up. Kudos for thinking about something not many superhero writers think about!
