Furthering the adventures of Simon Byrne, this takes place somewhere in the future after Simon and Nora have left the game store behind to move on to other things.

However, to set the stage, the focus is not on Simon, but rather at a rather normal suburban household at 7:20 AM, where wolf Rex is waiting for his carpool, along with fellow co-worker Grant the Black Cat, and his younger brother, Ben, who's waiting for his school bus.

While things seem pretty normal, chances are that normal-cy won't be around much longer.
