Currently on a short vacation in Texas, and decided to do a new piece.
Obviously, the main inspiration for this piece comes from the similar Bible verses Mark 13:7 and Matthew 24:6 (KJV):
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
I use it, mainly to refer to the fact that, just as in J.C.'s time, the majority of human history really has been one of Wars and Rumours of Wars.
The only thing that changes in this never-ending farce, are the particular actors playing it out...

Best Korea® was one of the nations I was thinking of, yes. ;)
However, I was also thinking of several others as well.
As for why I'm in TX, I'm visiting some friends, who live between San Antone and Corpses Crispy. :P
I'm not going to have the time or opportunity to get up to the DFW area this time out, I'm afraid. :(
I'm also happy that I finally got to see the one historical site in TX that interests me as much as the Alamo. A couple of days ago, we visited La Presidio de Bahía in Goliad. It was really cool.
Come and Take it!
