Strength of a Thousand Men Chapter 4
I return! Things should be going much more smoothly, now. The last chapter came down to a tie between two choices, so I decided to mix them together! The plot thickens further, and this heralds my first femmuscle fur- hurray, diversity!
Don't forget to VOTE! What'll happen next?
A) Conner finds a mysterious ally in the arena (will be focusing solely on Conner for the chapter, if this is chosen)
B̶)̶ ̶R̶o̶l̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶c̶a̶p̶t̶u̶r̶e̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶p̶y̶!̶
C̶)̶ ̶N̶y̶s̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶r̶c̶h̶a̶n̶t̶s̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ own
Voting is CLOSED. For the third time in a row, it's a tie, so I'm going to choose "A." Stay tuned!
Their fate is in your hands!

Hmm... behind door number one we have more time with Conner, which is always good. But I'm also bias in that regard. Also, my gut tells me that the special friend is going to be this Stranger. Roland appears to be all but forgotten by the red cloaked mystery man, while Conner has all the attention. Something is up...
Behind door number two we have... I'm not quite sure. Ask me last chapter and I'd say I'd be curious, but after the reveals in this chapter Roland's reactions would be less... progressive under to the plot.
Door number three... what could those merchants be up to? Could it be something about "rations" concerning this miracle powder? Might these giants need a certain level of maintenance to maintain their size and strength? Guess just being outright huge was too much to ask for.
While part of me wants to see more Conner, I'm going to take the road I believe leads to the more interesting plot. Door number C please.
That out of the way... I think I managed to cover most of my speculation in the debate over which of the three options to choose. We have hints of more of what the mysterious red cloaked stranger is, we have hints of how the power works, and we have hints of how the system of politics works. Oh, and congratulations having your first megamuscled woman on set. Can't wait to see her softer side.

I'm currently reading each chapter of this story and I'm loving it! At first I thought that Renard would be a brute who uses his incredible strength to get anything he wants, which is actually what Claudia is, but he's actually a really nice guy despite his intimidating size and muscles that can probably shatter a diamond without breaking a sweat. I also liked his reasons for wanting the Palamani to conquer the world. If I knew of his reasons, I would surrender when they reach the place where I live. Does he want to turn the people from the lands which they conquer into Palamani, unlike Claudia who wants to turn them into slaves?
