It is. The Image was for the NERO Alliance Head Quarters Scavenger Race Packet. At the time, Short Sword/Spear was a favorite boffer weapon combo. Looking at the image now, I see that where her hand is on the spear would throw the balance way off. And, Short sword Spear probably doesn't translate into a valid combat style in the real world. :)

Hmmm... From the way she's holding the spear, the best attack from that position would be to drop the spear head and rotate it forward into a stab or lunge... Short sword would shift to be able to stab into any opening created by defense against the Spear lunge... At least, that's the first Kata that occurs to me...

I don't see why it's not valid... Stylistically, it should be similar to Epee and Main Gauche, with more reach...

this should be made into a miniature by Reaper.
this reminds me a bit of an old Ral Partha mini showing a she-wolf in full plate.
