So i'm still freaking busy with day job and broken foot buggin me at other times and i have been working on some fur art but nothing i ready to post just yet...so some filler just so you know i'm rotting but not dead yet....

So way way back i was putting together a portfolio of sf/fantasy art to try to get some gigs at the sf/fantasy mags that existed way back then ( i've posted a few pages of the portfolio here and at dA . i did eventually get a gbunch of illo jobs from this portfolio, but by then i was stuck in the animation biz and i had to turn down more illo jobs than i could accept due to lack of time...)

Anyhoo, i did a few illos of already published famous stories as examples...This one is for Harlan Ellison's satiric classic. The Ticktock Man has prison garb ready for The Harlequin, and the Harlequin's jellybeans are trapped in a hourglass running out...

One thing that bugs me about the illo is that the ropes binding The Harlequin's arms behind his back don't read so clearly against the brick wall and makes it look like he's been amutated....oh well. Could fix that now, but don't want to alter this cuz i luv the heck out of this pic. On the other paw, the Ticktock Man's net...yeah...
