So I don't do personal art often at all, which can be a bit rough sometimes if I have something floating around my head. A while back we acquired a pair of gryphons from 
muramuri of which I had a gorgeous white gryphon from. I stared at her forever and started designing these two as anthro's, as slaton purchased the dark one.
This has taken a long while to finally get finished as it's been given 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there to do but over the course of CFz this last weekend I had a lot of people say they missed Lapres my owl. The more I looked at my white gryphon the more I felt torn between the two. So, Lapres will have a snow coat which will be the winter version, and her summer coat which is her more vibrant colours.
Her name hasn't changed, my gaming handle used to be "L'apres Midi" but while I was a gamer, everyone shortened my name to "Lapres" which obviously isnt the Pokemon! Over time it stuck and Lapres became my pen name and my handle for pretty much everything. I've had L'apres Midi for over 10 years now so she's really become a special character.
Shes morphed from a Priestess in Ragnarok Online, to an Elf huntress in WOW, my art name in the anime/furry world, and my irl nickname. Soooooo. yeah!
Meet the new L'apres! I am FINALLY happy with her design. How many years did it take? Hah.
Clayton is a dark gryphon of which I assume slaton will be making a background story for.
Mated pair, I guess? Though I'd love to see her with Slaton. Hah!

And to hurt your heads, L'apres/Lapres is my art name, Kalin my Horse is my fursona. Lapres is sort of her own entity, I don't associate myself with her as being me. I do associate Kalin with me.

Well what can i say? This is truely awesome! It was a wonderful thing when you bought the characters and couldn't wait to tell me when i got home from work and they have turned into this! I'll always treasure the time you put into personal art as it's so precious. Thank you so much Lapres! It means the world to see this up here to share with the world
And yus i'll finally get round to doing some writing, and do a story for Clayon. So, Lapres and Slaton together eh? heh heh could be for interesting times me thinks ;)

I was exactly the same for ages with Outputt, I HAD the name outputt but didn't connect with her (until the tinger update). So I totally get where you're coming from. It's a bit tricky eh? Especially for others xD <3

Still my horse! :D It's a bizzare character triangle. I am my horse, but my name is the same as my gryphon. I made the avian character first and gave her my pen name, but I strongly associate myself in the fandom with my horse. She's very much me, where the gryphon is more of an extra character.
