Here's one of the supporting protagonists that I had wanted to create for a while now. Sev will probably be more of a "guest" character, but I think he'll make a good complement in certain episodes and situations where the team needs more action focused members.

Here's a brief description:
Sev is another Hurtken of unknown age and origin, all that is known is that he's a relative of Arc but otherwise information about him is quite scarce.
Unlike Arc, who's charming and friendly, Sev is generally unpleasant and prone to aggressive action. Typically he's seen doing bounty hunting and enforcement contracts against high risk targets that most others wouldn't attempt; in his spare time he partakes in bare handed brawls and tends to haunt roughneck taverns.
Once in a great while Arc will call in a favor from Sev and the two will be seen working together on difficult jobs, but for whatever reason Sev is very critical of Arc's outlook and behavior and doesn't seem to approve of the choices he makes.
Regardless, if one ever needs something done that's too tough or difficult for most to handle then Sev is perfect for the job, just so long as you can tolerate his insufferable attitude.

I see what you mean...
Why I thought of Sam Axe was because of the hawaiian shirt and sunglasses which the character seems to wear most of the time, even during firefights... :P

I’d enjoyed watching it well enough being a big fan of Bruce Campbell, but I guess it wouldn’t be everybody’s cup of tea…7.5 out of 10 in my opinion…
The TV-series ran from 2007 to 2013...
Story Synopsis of Burn Notice
Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), a seasoned U.S. spy, is suddenly "burned", i.e. discredited, without any form of procedure. He survives by doing impossible jobs for desperate people in Miami, where his mother lives. Michael is usually aided by his ex-girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and trusted former FBI informer Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell).

Well I had actually played through Max Payne 3 before we did this commission, so I kinda though it would be interesting to see a character in a totally out of place tropical shirt.
Anyway, I hope you liked the piece; and yeah your right, it does look a like like Jack Carver (though far cry 1 is the only entry in the series I didn't get around to playing, so I didn't know what he looked like).

I played the second one as well; I could admire how difficult it was but it was still kinda missing something. I kinda felt like the 2nd one was just kinda trying to show how pointless war can be and how your actions don't amount to much more than changing hats between different warlords who are equally bad.
However, the two factions (probably on purpose) didn't really seem all that different from each other, so there was like nothing to root for in that game. It was just your character slowly dying of malaria and doing what seemed to be an endless stream of somewhat pointless, and repetitive missions, for people you don't even like.
I think that the 3rd game should get some credit, mostly because of the performance of Micheal Mando as "Vaas"; and to be honest I'll remember that way more than anything from the 2nd game.
Anyway, sorry that the game franchise isn't really going the way you want it to. If it's any consolation I watched that happen to Sim City and Command and Conquer on my side.

I actually played the old total annihilation, it was a lot of fun; and I really dug the story-line and that epic narrator they had for each mission. (the base building music was really dreary though, ha ha).
They actually make a spiritual successor to Total Annihilation using crowdfunding called "Planetary Annihilation"; I believe the new studio is called "Uber" and I believe it has a lot of those same people. Planetary Annihilation is pretty fun, though it seems to be multiplayer and skirmish only; which is disappointing, as I was really hoping for another epic story-line.

Ah crap, sorry to hear that man; the campaign helped explain a lot of what was going on, and hinted at past events and how the war had effected entire planets. Though in truth I only played the Arm campaign, since the Core campaign was just the same thing but backwards.
I think I've played every game from Westwood with the exception of "Renegade" where it's the first person view of a commando.
But yeah, Red Alert was pretty good; the Allies were a little bit under-powered in my opinion (since the Soviets got the mammoth tank, Tesla towers, and the Mig jets). But it was pretty fun overall, if you like the fantasy World war 2 kinda setup.
Anyway, thanks again!

Yeah, I try and make sure each character kinda has a look that matches their chosen occupation; with Sev here I was going for kinda tactical but also kinda mean looking. And yeah, I don't really like the big and buffed out look either; I think the closest to that you'll see on my roster would be captain Vaergas or Xerina (neither one of them are "buff" per say, just taller and more stocky).
Thanks for the feedback and comment! This helps me determine what's working and what's not.
Much obliged.

Indeed.
Ah, well personally I think it's a bit overused; that said I do like using characters with different heights and weights to kinda emphasize the difference between the races in the story-line and to kinda visually show what each character is best suited to doing.
Anyway, thanks again for the feedback; I'm glad you like the way I chose to portray this character.
