On such a clear and beautiful night, Lykanos did as he normally would under a bright moon. Roaming through the woods, he eventually came upon a small stream. Following it to it's source, he discovered a rocky formation reaching up to the sky. It had been a while since he had a good climb, so, with a bit of a grin, he leapt up and started for the top. As he climbed, the scents from distant campsites began to entice him. He could smell the wood fires and the hotdogs roasting. He hadn't been camping, well, human style camping, in a while and the scents made him long to do so. Reaching the top, he felt the full force of the wind that had been pushing the tantalizing aromas to him. With a low, curious crouch, he looked over the campsites below. One in particular caught his attention. A man and woman were cuddling up next to their fire pit, the glow lighting up the smiles on their faces. As he watched, a soft whine escaped Lykanos' throat. Silently watching, he wished he had someone to spend time with like that. Someone to share his life with. For now, all he could do was watch and wait.

Another amazing piece from the incredibly skilled  WindWo1f. I love her use of shadowing from the moonlight. The pose, the moon, and the fur texture are all so beautiful, but my favorite part has to be the eyes. There is just so much emotion there.
