I hope this week goes by fast for you too! My friend went through alot living the military life.
They were suppose to get married one week, and the military had their group stay behind in the area that they were in, so she had to cancel her wedding unfortunately.
They just now got married, and it was last minute replanning.
Seeing her go through all the pain, I hope the best for you and your mate! May their travels be a swift one back home to you.

I know how this feels...oh so very much.
I've got a plush of my mate's fursona as well. We went through this when he was in the military, and now we go through it again since he's got a job where he's gone 3 weeks out of every month. It sucks, it sucks A LOT.
Stay strong, and hopefully time flys by!

The Service is a great career choice, but what one should know is the repercussions it will have on the lives of your loved ones back home.
For I have seen both sides of the affects that the military has on a family first hand.
My dad enlisted into the Navy right out of High School at 18. And while my mom was still in High School my dad was at basic training. Then once my mom graduated, she married my dad where he was stationed at NAS Cecil Field Florida(That was when it was still a Naval Base) Then just three days into his shore leave, he had to report to his post aboard the CVN-73 USS George Washington when Terrorists turned commercial passenger planes into missiles and crashed them into the WTC and the Pentagon on 9/11. And then three years later my mom filed for a divorce.

Oh and that I can agree too for our Troops go to war as the sons and daughters that we know, but then when they come home... It like a part of them died over there and we have to help them relearn how to live in a world where they don't have to worry about enemy attacks. And whenever I meet a Vet out in public I thank them for their sacrifices that they made to protect me and my family. I especially give thanks to Vietnam Veterans, for they were hated by some of the civilians that only saw what News reports saw every time they went one to the combat zone. But they never saw what the Vietcong were doing to the U.S. POWs and they only showed lies to civilian news reports. Point n' case that one U.S. POW the blinked in Morse code how he and his fellow brothers in arms were really being treated in the North Vietcong POW Camps.
Oh wow. I didn't realize you were a military wife. first off I have to say thank your mate for defending us. Also, there is no words I can truly actually say about your feelings. I have this overwhelming feeling to comfort you as well as helplessness at the same time. All I can truly state is hang on dear. Hang in there and you can through this. You have the support of your love ones, your friends and it might not mean much but me as well. ^^
