They've had an uphill battle all the way taking out the higher-seeded Beothuks in 7 games and then the Eastern favorite Wanderers in another 7-game thriller to advance to face the Killer Bees who many -expect- to win. Will this momentum be enough to get Erie into the history books?
From the Western Conference the Salt Lake City Killer Bees are back in the Finals for the 2nd straight season and seemingly out for blood. They passed by the Totem Paws in round 1 with the 4-game sweep all but a foregone conclusion. They ended up with a decent fight on their hands against the Spirits who took the Bees into multiple OT games but ended up on the prevailing end of a 4-2 series.
One of these two teams will be twice a bridesmaid while the other, well, they'll win the FHL Cup.
