Seeing a lot of different artists doing that Furry Police Meme got me wanting to join in on it. Since there was little innovation of the uniform, I had two variations used, one for water and one for space. This is the second of these two that I commissioned 
Akihiro12 for. Meaning the lineart was done by him, I merely colored it.
This Bangaa, Hinom Bandas, is a member of the Orbital division of the police force. His territory is in space, throughout the solar system. He's just one of the many members of the division, and the showcase of the spacesuit version of the uniform.
In case you're wondering about the feet, every member of the division has the spacesuit custom fit for them, everything from the helmet on the head down to the boots of the spacesuit, so they fit the body well and prevent any difficulties in movement.

The application I'd believe would go to the IGPA (Inter-Galactic Police Academy), and the duties are based on where they're sent. Those that stay on earth tend to have normal police duties. For those in orbit around the earth, they deal with the space variety of the normal stuff. Murders, trespassing, drug dealing, body trafficking, etc. Difference is that it's a lot easier to get killed from getting scraped. Get just a small gash in the suit, and you pretty much need to enter a craft asap, or you will die.
Crafts tend to be orbiters for those near the earth, and actual spaceships for those deeper out in space. Weaponry tends to run across the equivalent of phasers from Star Trek. Can stun or kill people, and shut off tech, including the suits they're wearing, though that qualifies under special circumstances for when it can be used. A motto, I don't believe they have one. Hard writing for space stuff. I'm unsure of the acceptance rate to be honest, they haven't given out that info.
