Ugh, I still suck at drawing imaginative backgrounds... x_x
Anyway, this is my belated birthday gift for
digisushi. =) I've been meaning to draw a picture for him as a reply after he drew this for me: http://digisushi.deviantart.com/art.....ttack-92315381
Originally, he was going to be completely naked, but recently, Digisushi made a little update on his design, mostly changing the way his pawmark-shaped spots appear on his body, and the most recent update made my eyes water. x_x So I made him wear his trademark clothing, so that I don't have to deal with his body markings.
I didn't make him wear his trademark tortoise shell hat because, well, among the first things I've drawn is his hair (or "headfur" if you prefer), which I think turned out rather nice. (I hope he doesn't mind.)
Colors are approximate, because to date, he almost always upload only black-and-white pencil sketches of his characters. Therefore, I based the coloring from other giftarts everyone else have drawn for him.
Yamikari belongs to digisushi.

I see this, and immediately, the first thing that comes to mind is "colorful adventure puppy." ^ ^;
I think I know who this character belongs to. I think because of that one black patch around his eye do I happen to think I recognize how this is too.
It'll admit, I do like the clothing you gave him there. It's...RPG like. That go out and questing kind of outfit that works for him. [I think it's the boots. It's definately the boots.]
Though I do have to say...you did a rather colorful job in doing the background. Unimaginative nothing. It happens to WORK you know. o`'.o;

Sorry for taking so long to reply. x_x Anyway, thanks. =) Those clothing are actually Yamikari's own idea; I just merely follow what he had designed for his character. I never thought that they reminded of RPG characters. O_O
