So here's our hero, Jon Baker. People tend to pronounce it Joan when they meet him, because they assume he's a girl. They also used assume he and his sister are identical twins until puberty gave her big breasts.
Anyway, his sister is part of a costuming club, but she fell sick in time for a convention where they were going to show up, so they needed a 4th member for a set of costumes, and his sister volunteered him. With some padding to give him the breasts nature gave his sister, he was a perfect fit.
The fact that his sister used makeup glue to lock the wig and the costume on him also helped to stop him from just running away.
