I FINISHED IT, FTW!!
Ah well. I really did it. I know, it could be better. I started this pic back in june I think. Since late july I didn't work on it till midoctober. I'm now better with drawing legs and especially the feet but I didn't want to correct them. Was afraid I wouldn't get the coloring done this nice again.
Anyway. It was a large file. No idea how many backup files I made. All in all I had two files (one for the bg, one for the char) both between 200 and 300 MB huge. An additional file for the guns and bullets (I know the second gun looks kinda retarded, but it wouldn't work out for me, so I let it be).
Made most of the brushes (texture brushes) myself. I drew everything, no texture overall. I DREW EVERYTHING BY HAND. Also this was the first complete pic and large project done in PS CS3. I like that version. I can work with it better than PS 7.

I kinda f***cked the bg up. At the end I really couldn't come up with a good idea and I changed the upper half of the bg completely. I know everything could be better, but this is by far the best I can do know.
Actually I am really proud of how the coat turned out. :XD:
Another thing is, I didn't use any kind of sketch for the monsters n the bg. I just drew them. But it's a suprise that the anatomy looks kinda good on them.
Well, not much more to say. I'll shut up now.
btw: He's a char from my story. So no random wolfie. Which means: Steal and I'll hunt you down.
Due to the amount of details and my overall disgust for everything that disturbs a clear view, I will not add a watermark to this.
And I will offer prints of it. Maybe via dA, but I think I prefer to sell them at the next Eurofurence (which I won't be able to attend)

Like I said, it looks cool
It will just make people with experience with firearms go "Wait... indiv... but... what? Why does....?", due to the fact that carrying bullets individually completely makes using a magazine fed gun pointless (detachable magazines exist so you can just click them in place and not have to reload one bullet at a time)
Also, extremely nice work on the coat.

I didn't even think about if anything is technically possible. I just drew it and I actually didn't care, since I never thought the pic will work and I will ever finish it. And, that is the first time I ever drew a gun, so it also was the first time I made some researches.
I don't even think the guns would work IRL, but at least they look nice.
Anyway, yeah, the coat is the best part of the whole image.

Well, semi-auto handguns are honestly not horrifically compicated (they actually have less moving parts than a revolver), so pretty much as long as the mechanisms on the inside are decent and stuff fits together, just about any shape gun will work. Technically the gunslinger wouldn't have had to pull the slide back to eject the spent casing and load a new one, that would have been done automatically (unless there was a jam)
Considering that is your first time drawing a gun, that's extremely good work. If I were to look for a few minutes, I could probably find a gun with a similar slide to that one. The overall shape is much the same as a 1911 longslide

XD Danke.
