How  Teskine and I started.

This gift art is from 2005, 2006?  Teskine and I became friends over our love of bats and Final Fantasy, and this was one of my first gift arts ever when I was first making a name for myself on the internet!

As for how much this gift means to me, it's no secret, General Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX is the primary character inspiration for Nyxis. The moment I saw Beatrix I said, "How come *I* don't have a badass female like that?" And thus Nyxis was born. =)

If you have the chance, I HIGHLY recommend playing FFIX! It's an immersive, reflective game that will be a classic to me forever, and very much one of my story-telling influences!
