A non-furry cosplay :D
Based off the Elizabeth Taylor version from the 1963 movie Cleopatra.
I’ve been working on this for a whole year. The beading on the dress, cape and headdress took 8 months to complete.
There are over 80,000 beads on this costume T_T

The head dress is build on a vacuum formed styrene base and covered with felt. The snakes and feathers are cast resin, the beads are metal and stone. The large topper is pink insulation foam covered in wonderflex and spraypainted gold. It was actually my first time using wonderflex, and I can see the popularity of it for cosplayers.
this is absolutely incredible! when you post things like this i feel so honored for you to have been my fursuit maker...! it's the spitting image, especially that cloak. amazing work, hopefully you'll get time to work on more traditional costume work in the future because it's getting to be my favorite thing to see from you! wow!!!
There are a few more shots here: http://komickrazi.tumblr.com/post/1.....ng-on-this-for
But admittedly they didn't pick up all the beads either. I will probably post a few shots of the beading when I get a chance

Most times when you see a show on West End (in my case) or Broadway youd never realise how detailed or eloberate a stage costume is until you get a chance to see one of them up close and personal. I realised that after seeing a corset from the Lion King musical in theyre foaje in London and it was amazingly detailed and filled with Beads and thus things you never really got to aphrociate when youre in the audience. At least that goes for some costume heavy shows.
