A little gift for my dear Jack ♥
Breaking my art block slowly.. I'm always up for drawing these two, so I figured why not~
I actually lost the first, completed version of this due to sai crashing.. It didn't help my block, but I did manage to muster up the will to redraw it. I think it's a little better than before~
Anyways, here's JaKu as giant space monsters. I really didn't know what to do for the background, so. Whatever! I like space themes. I still need to practice on my painted-style backgrounds; this one ended up a little too textured..
Also, this showcases my cell-shading style. I don't cell-shade much, and I still need to practice with it, but I think I'm getting to something that I rather like. It's more a mix of cell-shading and soft gradient-type shading then pure cell-shading though. I like it well enough.
If anyone wants to use the background as a wallpaper, I made a version without JaKu in it here ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16707148 ). Because I'm a person who adores space-themed wall papers ♥ It's not realistic, but I like it enough anyways.
