Inez "The Dragon" Sanchez and Maximilian "X-Kalibur," the Bounty Hunters that wander the Dark Zone, an area inaccessible to Pokemon outside of the area. Technically speaking, it is accessible, but who would want to live in such a desolate, polluted, inhospitable land where survival of the fittest is law? Where one must sleep with one eye open? Where one false move can result in heavy radiation poisoning, being enslaved by slavers, or killed by psychopaths?

Inez did not have a choice in the matter, for she was born into this brutal life. Her mother was sick in the head, her father was nowhere to be found, and so she learned to fend for herself, but her skills were not enough to keep her from being enslaved by a slaver clan. For sixteen years, she was worked, starved, beaten, and worse, until her time finally came to escape, but it came at a great cost: one of the slavers, skilled in using Dark Age weaponry, took her arm off with a powerful gun. No longer useful to them, the slavers moved on and left Inez to die, and she would have had a mysterious Lucario not saved her life. She was taken to a village and nursed back to health, but the mental scars remained. Her innocence long gone, she replaced it with the only thing that she knew in this Hell: a hardened soul of cold steel and a thirst for vengeance. The divine rulers granted her wish in the form of a Honedge named Maximilian. Immediately upon finding the possessed blade, she was given an offer: Maximilian would help her become the most feared warrior in the Dark Zone in exchange for her soul once she died. With nothing else to lose, and believing that her actions from that point on would send her straight to Hell anyways, she accepted. And thus, "The Dragon" rose from its slumber, slaying anything that crossed its path.
