Asides many photos, a warm beanie cap from the Chicago Cubs, and lots of memories, I also brought this unique souvenir from the city of big shoulders.


When I sat with in a restaurant, waiting for Chicago-style deep dish pizza, she made this pic of me (all complete with paw-feet) within a few minutes and gave it to me as a gift. To someone like me who would be completely unable to do something like this on the spot, it seemed like magic. It was not only a joy to visit a friend I had known online for a while now, but also to watch a skilled artist at work Thanks again for this piece, my friend, it means a lot to me!
