The heavyset member of Denya's small group of fighters. As a child, Charon was pampered and spoiled beyond comprehension. Anything the maneless lion asked for, he received and then some, prompting him to believe the real world worked like that too... as if.

When he turned 18, Charon was quickly thrusted into the working man's world. Realizing that no everyone is willing to do anything he asked, the lion begged his family to take him back, not understand anything. His parents, ashamed that their son doesn't know how to fend for himself, turned their backs on their son, forgetting his existence. Poor Charon, it's not his fault no one ever taught him how to find a job, or how to make friends, or anything in this complicated, messed up world.

He finds Denya a few weeks later eating a copious amount of food and tries to steal it from him. Given Denya's war-like background, that was a very very dumb move, as Charon quickly learned when a butter knife was suddenly stabbed through his palm. Charon quickly continued to assault and attack Denya, leaving the scene with bruises every time, until somehow they miraculously become friends... and that's when they learn Charon's true talent.

When Denya tried to give the chubby lion a gauntlet, the entire thing exploded right in his face, sending both furs flying back. At first it was believed to be due to faulty materials, but soon the truth made itself known: Charon has so much psionic capabilities that just coming in contact with the gauntlets causes them to overload with energy.

One of their smithy friends was kind enough to give Charon a staff made of pure silver: a metal perfect for conducting vast amounts of energy. With his unique gift, Charon can change the staff into any shape he wants with his power. His favorite, however, is a single headed scythe, because he likes to imagine himself as the harbinger of death... I wonder if Charon is his real name.
