Many of you might know that this piece has been in work in progress mode for a year now. Yesterday I was talking with Riskikoi about how I haven't done any really clear cell shaded work in LOOONG time and then I got an inspiration and started work on this. It was supposed to be painting at first.

When I got this idea of Gry wearing Mata as an armor I was thinking many things about my situation back then. I had been diagnosed with an syndrome which, even if not dangerous, is painful to live with and is controlling my everyday life with iron grip. + panic disorder to that. So I was thinking how it would be great to be able to wear your weakness as an armor. When you know and accept faults in your life there is no one who can truly use those against you.
