Mankind has long looked up at the heavens and pondered his seeming isolation, desperate to prove thier seemingly unique existence , sending out signals and messages of invitation to any possible life OUT THERE. In the black depths of the universe, man prayed someone would hear them, so they could once and for all know that intelligent life existed outside their solar system.

It was not considered that perhaps more primitive lifeforms could ALSO home in on signals sent from earth. Life that was hungry.

Origin: A bizarre Gigantic Flying space fish that was attracted to earth's solar system by radio signals sent into space.No one is entirely sure where the beast originates from, but the creatures behavior seems to show a creature that travels space in search of inhabited worlds on which to gorge itself. It bears distinct marks of what appear to be wounds inflicted by ANOTHER shark, suggesting it may not be the only member of its species. An alternative theory is that perhaps it is an exceptionally large member of its kind that was not above cannibalism.




Melee Attacks: Mantamaw uses its massive, wing-like fins to smack around it's opponents. A long powerful tail will keep away any Kaiju foolish enough to attack from the rear. While dangerous at both ends, its powerful jaws are certainly the most frightening aspect of the flying space fish. Lined with rows of enormous dagger-like teeth, the mouth is capable of delivering devastating bites and thrashings that could sever kaiju limb from bone.


Ranged Attacks: Mantamaw's skincells absorb solar radiation from the sun that is stored in a special organs behind its eyes. When the membrane protecting it's eyes is removed, it releases high powered optical beams of energy.

Suction Feeding: Mantamaw is equipped with a poweful lung-like organ that the fish can use to literally "inhale" prey towards its mouth. The force of intake can literally draw other kaiju towards its toothy jaws for bites and grabs. It also uses this to pick up objects that can be "spat" back out at targets with relative accuracy.

Grab Attacks: "Frenzy"

Perhaps one of the most vicious attacks Mantamaw can perform is once it has a enemy between its jaws, thrashing his head side-to side to savage it's prey with its saw-like teeth, before throwing it to the ground with such force that the other kaiju is sent flying, rolling and tumbling away in a bloody heap.
