I wasn't planning on doing a whole lot of topological changes for Blythe, but I knew the shoulders and chest were going to need some, possibly the waist, too. This has proven accurate. Fortunately, they went quite smoothly and are actually quite an improvement over Rederick's topology in the same area.
The new topological changes allow for good deformation of the arms and shoulders but in a much more compact frame. Rederick is really has quite a bulky chest and that simply doesn't work for a female. I can cheat the underarm area for Rederick but not for Blythe. Thankfully, I found the perfect setup to take care of the more compact shape and it hardly needs any skeleton changes! I'll still need to make some changes to allow for proper control of the breasts, but that shouldn't be hard. I may have also made the breasts too big.
There were tons of changes for Blythe! The arms, shoulders, chest, back, and neck are significantly less bulky. I also pulled the arm joints in just slightly to get them to fold to the side well with the new slimmer upper torso. Her shoulders are far less wide than last week, but still need a bit of adjustment.
The best part of the new shoulder topology is that it finally fixes the last major clipping issue, when the arm is point straight out forward!
