This is my attempt at drawing a D1 from the anime series RahXephon. I got inspired to draw this picture from one of my friend's picture frame that had stain glass plants on it. And thats how I got this. Also possibly one of my best pictures made using pencil crayons to colour it.

The only thing that I could say to this is do a little more details on the face like the rest of the body. Everything else is really good. I love how the sash in the back looks very distance. It gives good depth to the whole image.
Question though. Where's the light source for this picture? It looks likes it's in the bottom of the page going toward the right. It makes the picture a little unbalance with the colors. Like the top is dark heavy and the bottom is light heavy. Unless it's suppose ot be that way.

thank you ^^
The face was kinda the hardest part for me, cuz their faces look like masks a little, with little facial details, but they act like real faces, with movable lips and that, kinda hard for me to draw, concidering faces are one of my worst things to draw, next to furries of course XD. And the sash in the back was the thing I focused on the most, cuz I wanted it to look like part of the background/farther back, and like it was moving in water, concidering it is an aquatic D1.
Well, im not the best artist, and sadly pay little attention to lighting when I shade my things, mostly cuz when I do colouring for things, I realized it was always the ighting/shading to it that made me mess up. Now usually on the odd ocassion I do colour, I make the colours lighter and darker to show that their actually a deeper tone of the colour on the opposite end. But I must admit, I do have to start working on my lighting angles again. Its one of my major lacking areas in shading and such.
But I thank you for pointing that out now, cuz I never actually concidered any of this before. So I thank you for pointing this out to me, thank you very much ^^
