My boyfriend saw some screenshots of the Benign Second Life avatar (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1668986/) when it was still a work-in-progress. He said it looked like Felix the Cat, so I altered the Benign avatar to make a Felix the Cat avatar.
Felix was an influence in Sonic's original design, so most Sonic-based characters bear a certain resemblance to him.

I'm not a big Felix fan either, but I don't dislike him.
And thanks. I never really thought of myself as having that particular talent. I didn't even know how to apply "flat" images onto the shapes--that's why the pupils on their eyes bug out and they have no mouths, everything is just made out of geometric shapes. But the few experiments I've done, I liked.
It helps that Felix and Benign have pretty simple faces. I'm not sure how people manage to make those really realistic, fancy furry avatars.
