No Personal Art Week is complete without at least one picture of Luthien, and for this week I already had an idea in mind. I have been wanting to draw her with one of the big Elk seen as Elven mounts in the Hobbit movies for quite some time now. So here's that idea brought to fruition, nothing terribly fancy or involved, just a simple concept carried out over the space of a few hours last Monday.

I could imagine at some point in her life she would have gone to visit the elves of Mirkwood and found one of these guys and made an instant friend. :3

The antlers were actually harder to draw than I thought they'd be, even with numerous pictures of Megaloceros to use as refs. There are things I can still find to nitpick about if I sit and stare but meh, its done. lol

Luthien is my main fursona and comes from the world of Middle Earth, a place very dear to me and has been so for several years now. <3
